What you send us goes toward takedown requests and rights-holder action. Anonymous reports are welcome.
Counterfeit copies of our decks are being sold on several marketplaces. They are printed from scans of our cards, on thin paper, and they ship without the printed guidebook that belongs in the box. Beyond the loss to us, it means someone paid for our work and received something that is not it.
If you have seen a listing that looks wrong, please tell us. You do not need to be sure. A URL on its own is genuinely useful — we will do the checking.
How to tell a genuine deck from a counterfeit

Genuine: a lidded box — the lid slides down over the base. Counterfeit: a tuck-end carton, folded shut at both ends. |

Genuine: a printed booklet inside the box. Counterfeit: no booklet — a QR code on the box that downloads an illegally uploaded copy of ours. |

Genuine: crisp lines, deep colour. Counterfeit: scanned from our cards, so the lines break up and the colour looks washed out. |
| Card stock |
Genuine: substantial, with a firm snap. Counterfeit: noticeably thin and floppy. |
| Card size | Our tarot cards are 7.0 x 12.0 cm. A listing quoting a smaller size is not our deck. |
| Origin | Every Luna Factory deck is made in Japan. A listing whose country of origin says China is not genuine. |
| Price | A new deck offered well under half our retail price is a counterfeit. Several are currently listed at $7 to $23 against our $48 to $58. |
| Licensed characters | Sanrio and San-X decks are made under licence and always carry the licensor's copyright line. Wording such as "Sanrio-inspired", or a brand field naming someone other than Luna Factory, indicates a counterfeit. |

Genuine secondhand and parallel-import listings do exist and are perfectly legitimate. What should concern you is a new deck at a price no genuine seller could offer.
Before you send the form
If you have photographs — of the deck that arrived, or a screenshot of the listing — please send the form first and then email them to info@lunafactory.co.jp with your name in the subject line. The form itself cannot take attachments.
If you already bought one, please open a refund claim with the marketplace first — they will usually refund a counterfeit. We cannot refund or replace a deck we did not sell, but hearing what arrived helps our takedown request enormously.
There is no reward. This is simply a request for help in protecting work we care about.
